Memorial Description

Plaque 36cm high x 56cm wide in wide oak frame 51cm wide x 71cm high. At the top is the R.A.F. badge between two wings. The lettering is incised and filled with blue enamel using Roman upper and lower case lettering.

1. Sgt. Hall was serving with 550 Sqdn. He was a crew member of Lancaster I ME556 BQ-F which took off from North Killingholme on a mission to attack rail communications at Acheren. The aircraft crashed. Six bodies were found and buried.
