Original Location

St. Andrew's Parish Church, Newgate Street / St. Andrew’s Street (formerly Darn Crook) On a column to the right of the organ. Third of four plaques.

Memorial Description

Plaque 15cm high x 23 cm wide. There is a single line incised border. Lettering is in sans serif capitals. At the bottom are notes of music, which are the opening bars of "I know that my Redeemer Liveth" from Handel's "Messiah".

Died of wounds at Tincourt in France,
