Memorial Description

Roll of Honour. Framed scroll 3 feet high x 18 inches wide in behind glass in a plain wood frame 2½ inches wide. Round the edge is a border pattern of laurel leaves, with, in each corner, a rose, thistle, daffodil and shamrock. The words "Roll of Honour" at the top are in Gothic black letters with green capitals. Below them is a Union flag in a laurel wreath, and the words "For God, King and Country" in a scroll underneath. The name of Plashetts is in red capitals. The quotation at the bottom is in gold lettering outlined with black, set on a gold scroll. The names are listed in three columns in black plain letters shadowed with grey (?silver) using capitals only. The whole memorial is done by hand.
