1. The Parish church suffered bomb damage during 1939-45 when many of the windows were shattered. The church combined with Whitburn.

2. On the day of the unveiling, the Bishop dedicated 3 windows and 6 plaques. It is thought that one of them might be to this man. Confirmation would be gratefully received.

3. Pte. Gouch is remembered at Marsden on M52.05
